Upcycled Stool

WHY

I was going to buy a designer stool for my room but after seeing the prize I decided to make it myself. I thought I would enjoy the process of making a piece of furniture and would save some money.

WHAT

It's a version of Piet Hein Eek's scrapwood stool design. It is a very simple structure, made out of upcycled pine wood and a bunch of screws.

HOW

The piece is made out of a discarded pallet and scrap wood. I took the materials from a construction site's dumpster close to my home in Barcelona. With the help of my parents, I used a hand saw and some screws to put the design together.
